Welp here we are. My new Beat Tape is finally complete and mixed. I started this project mid February and finished this week. As of now, I’m putting the finishing touches on it as far as mastering and last minute checks. After that comes promotion and then it’s going up on all DSP platforms.
I had fun making this tape. As always there was a theme and that was “Gold”. It felt right and im glad I went this direction. I hope everyone that encounters my music loves this project. A lot went into this and I can spend all day talking about how each track came together and how I mixed it. But I’ll save that for a later time I guess. For right now be on the look out for when I will be releasing.

Got a new beat tape in the works. Forgive me, while I still try to get use to this “Blog” section of my website. But so far I really haven’t said much or post any updates regarding this beat tape.

I’m gonna call this tape “Gold”, for many reasons that I will be breaking down in the upcoming days. But yea for this tape, it’s all MPC straight Beats (like my “Hotel Room Service” Beat tape Series). But since I’ve been getting more drawn into this whole analogue setup, I got inspired to bless the world with my creation. I wanna say I started around early January, but paused, once I knew the intent was there. Went Crate digging for a solid 2 weeks, and came back with 25 records. By this time, I also received my Alesis 3630 Compressor, that was going to be apart of my analogue setup.

Once I had set everything up, the inspiration flowed like water and all I had to do was create. The beats came out but my MPC almost gave up on me. Long story short - Ended up swapping out one of my pcb boards, knobs etc. and ordering more CF Cards. And here we are.

As you can image it was a roller coaster. But what project and creation isn’t a mess, when it’s coming together? It’s all apart of the process. At this point, I’m at the mixing & mastering stages for the beats, but I’m almost done. Pretty soon I’ll post a release date and cover art. Till then enjoy the preview of what’s to come.
